2. Service and audio data
For mastering and server-side analysis we process the uploaded audio file, file name, size, format, technical measurements, selected platform, preset, intensity and processing parameters. The sole purpose is the requested technical analysis and processing. Audio is not used for advertising, user profiling or AI-model training and is not published.
Tools labelled as local process audio entirely in the browser. Tools labelled as server-side and the public Mix Check transfer the file to our server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Without the file, the requested service cannot be provided. Public Mix Check files are removed after completion, cancellation or failure and do not create a permanent job or account record.
3. Account, sign-in and history
Online mastering requires an account. We process email address, optional name and profile image, password hash, account timestamps, two-factor status and short-lived login/reset data. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Mastering history contains file name, date, status, platform, preset, measurements, processing parameters and optional notes, but no audio after the file-retention period. Saved references contain a name and analysis values, not the reference audio. These records and the fair-use count are linked to the account and are not anonymous.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security, rate limiting and abuse prevention additionally rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting accounts, infrastructure and fair availability.
Optional Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, you are redirected to Google and we receive, subject to your approval, a provider identifier, email address, name and possibly profile image. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Google sign-in is optional; email/password sign-in remains available. 4. Transactional email through Resend
Welcome messages, password resets, login codes, cancellation confirmations and mastering completion/error notifications are sent through Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. We transmit the email address and required message content. Mastering notices may contain the file name, platform and measurement. The basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for security notices, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Resend acts as processor. US transfers rely on its EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification and, additionally, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum. See the Resend DPA and Privacy Policy.
5. Hosting, DSP service and server logs
The website and server-side components are operated within the European Union at DomainFactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Str. 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany, under an Art. 28 GDPR processing agreement. See DomainFactory privacy information.
Necessary logs may include IP address, time, URL, HTTP status, user agent and transferred bytes. They are used to deliver the service, diagnose errors and defend against attacks under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Normal retention is seven days. Evidence isolated for a concrete security incident or legal duty may be retained longer for that limited purpose.
6. Necessary cookies and local storage
We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Signed-in users receive an HTTP-only session cookie required for authentication and account protection. A continuing session may remain valid for up to 30 days. The basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG together with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
LocalStorage holds the language preference, acknowledgement of the cookie notice and, where applicable, the identifier of a dismissed site notice. These values stay on the device and can be removed through browser controls.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Recipients are limited to DomainFactory for hosting, Resend for transactional email and, only when selected, Google for OAuth sign-in. Within Beatzucker, access is limited to people who need it for operations, support or security. Audio is not sold, published or disclosed for advertising.
Resend and Google may process data outside the EEA. Transfers are governed by Chapter V GDPR, in particular an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Retention and deletion
- Mastering original: for preview and manual adjustments, no more than approximately 60 minutes after upload
- Public Mix Check: removed after completion, cancellation or error
- Master output: accessible for exactly 24 hours; physically deleted by the next cleanup, normally within five minutes after expiry
- Account, history and reference analyses: until account deletion; linked master records and files are removed with the account
- Password reset token: 15 minutes; login code: 10 minutes or until use
- Authentication session: no more than 30 days unless ended earlier
- Server logs: normally seven days
Where a statutory retention obligation or a concrete legal claim applies, affected data is restricted for that purpose and deleted afterwards.
9. Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under Arts. 15–21 GDPR. Account export and deletion are available in the account area. Security secrets such as password hashes, reset tokens, OTPs and active session tokens are not included in exports.

10. No legally significant automated decision
There is no solely automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects under Art. 22 GDPR. Adaptive DSP parameter selection is a technical function applied to the audio chosen by the user.
