How to interpret it: A ballad need not be as loud as a club track. The median is a reference; complete any missing analyses first.

Must every album track have identical loudness?

No. Intros, ballads and club tracks may intentionally differ. The sequence should feel musically coherent.

Does the tool alter masters?

No. It only analyzes files and never overwrites them.

Is the median a mastering target?
