Frequently asked questions

Why are short fades applied?

Ten-millisecond fades reduce clicks when a cut is not exactly at a zero crossing.

Is the LUFS target always reached?

Positive gain is limited by the −1 dBTP ceiling. Headroom takes priority over forcing loudness.

Is the original overwritten?

No. The tool creates a new WAV file.
