Frequently asked questions

Why are short fades applied?

Ten-millisecond fades reduce clicks when a cut is not exactly at a zero crossing.

Is the LUFS target always reached?

The −1 dBTP peak ceiling takes priority. The tool measures the section after trimming and fades, then shows the achieved loudness of the WAV.

Is the original overwritten?

No. The tool creates a new WAV file.
