BEATZUCKER AUDIO LAB

Analyze stereo width, phase and mono compatibility

Measure left/right correlation, side-to-mid width, mono level change and balance, including separate low-, mid- and high-band phase correlation.

Sample-based vectorscope
Three frequency-dependent correlations
Fully local analysis

How it works

  1. Open a stereo track locally
  2. Calculate global and band correlation
  3. Verify risky values in mono and across systems

Frequently asked questions

What does negative correlation mean?

It indicates opposing-phase content that can become quieter or disappear when summed to mono.

Is a wide mix automatically problematic?

No. Important elements should remain stable and the mono sum should still work musically.

Why is low-end phase important?

Out-of-phase bass can lose substantial energy on mono playback systems.
